Tad Talks: Stylist Carolina Augustin
Meet Carolina Augustin an Italian-born, London-raised and based stylist. We worked with the super talented Carolina on our latest shoot with Lizzy Hadfield. She began her career in fashion at British Vogue under the helm of Edward Enninful where she worked as Fashion Assistant for 3 years, assisting Fashion Directors Julia Sarr-Jamois and Poppy Kain.
We loved working with you at the shoot with Lizzy, tell us your favourite looks from the shoot
It was so much fun working with Lizzy and I loved the theme of the shoot so it was a pleasure working on this project! My favourite looks were probably the black shirt dress from Raey. It looked so elegant on Lizzy and because of its simplicity, the jewellery was really able to stand out and shine. My second favourite look was probably the Frankie shop blazer, tank and jeans. I love a blazer more than anything as I believe it can really dress up any outfit and make you feel so powerful. And then accessorised with the perfect chain necklace, it's the perfect day-to-night outfit.
Your daily beauty regime
My daily beauty routine always starts with a cleanse. I use a light exfoliator in the evening and a standard facial wash in the morning, always followed by toner, and then a vitamin C serum for the morning and a hyaluronic acid in the evening and always finished off by my favourite product, the SkinCeuticals Phyto corrective serum. I will always top it off with an SPF 50 for the daytime too.
Wardrobe staples
My must have-wardrobe staples would be the perfect straight denim, the oversized blazer, the white tank, the boxy black t-shirt, the chunky cable knit jumper, the little black mini skirt, knee high boots (I'm into a heel at the moment) and trainers! I probably spend 70% of my life in trainers.
Best sample sales in London
My absolute favourite sample sale in London and one I do not miss each and every time is the Wales Bonner sample sale. I absolutely love her clothing and everything that I have ever bought I've worn time and time again.
Favourite high street shops
Arket, Cos, Zara - in that order!

How would you describe your jewellery style?
I would describe my jewellery style as quite paired back. My every day is often just a pair of gold hoops and a gold chain necklace. I then like to have the odd statement piece - like a statement pair of earrings or a statement ring especially on a night out to make myself feel dressed up.
Who’s jewellery box would you love to raid?
I love raiding my mother's! Every time I go home I am always going through her jewellery and watches box and trying everything on. She has the best pieces I have ever seen collected over the years and for me jewellery is personal so if it has a story then it's even more special.
Favourite piece from Tada & Toy?
My favourite piece from the Tada & Toy x Lizzy Hadfield collection would be the Luigi signet ring. I love its chunkiness!
